Because coil of wire behaves as a magnetic dipole and magnetic dipole has greater magnetic field

Look when we pass electricity on a straight wire it has some magnetic field but when the wire is coiled and overlapped over and over again the electricity keeps on circling the magnet etc.it increases the magnetic field and to some extend it may even be visible that why we use a coiled fire to make an electromagnet.
