Why alkene is more reactive than benzene.​

The structure is more stable to addition across the double bonds because of conjugation. Aromatic rings do not undergo addition reactions across the double bonds easily. normal alkenes readily do.

Benzene has a cyclic structure with delocalised π electrons and with more resonating structures which make it more stable. As it is more stable so it is less reactive. But on the other hand, alkene does not have such type of arrangement, nor does it has delocalised electrons or aromatic.
