why all isosceles triangles are not similar... plzz explain in very very simple words

All isosceles triangles are not similar.

Though they have 2 angles the same , due to the difference in the base side , it alters and affects the remaining sides and angles.

hannah29jan: First (and my original answer), "If △ABC is isosceles and △ABC~△DEF, then △DEF is isosceles." Two triangles are similar if and only if the three angles of one are congruent to the three angles of the other.
hannah29jan: Since a triangle is isosceles if and only if two of its angles are congruent, if a triangle is similar to an isosceles triangle, then it will also have two congruent angles and must be isosceles.

Hey bro

the answer is so simple yaar. Isosceles triangle means 2 sides are equal and 1 is differ from another 2 sides, then how can be all isosceles triangle are same
