why all isosceles triangles are not similar... plzz explain in very very simple words

All isosceles triangles are not similar.
Though they have 2 angles the same , due to the difference in the base side , it alters and affects the remaining sides and angles.

First (and my original answer), "If △ABC is isosceles and △ABC~△DEF, then △DEF is isosceles." Two triangles are similar if and only if the three angles of one are congruent to the three angles of the other.

the answer is so simple yaar. Isosceles triangle means 2 sides are equal and 1 is differ from another 2 sides, then how can be all isosceles triangle are same
