why all natural earthquake takes place in lithosphere??

Because lithosphere means the land or the earths crust.ths earth's crust is divided into fragments which are called plates. When this plates collide or move apart from each other or pass through each other then the earthquake takes place.but hydrosphere,biosphere etc... Does not have plates so earthquake occurs only in lithosphere
