HYYYYY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANS...

BECAUSE

the edge of knife is sharp, apple can be cut easily without much effort. This is because, area of the sharp edge is highly minimized which causes a very high pressure on the apple.......

Answer:

a sharp knife exerts large amount of force over a small area as such the pressure applied on Apple by the knife increases.

whereas a blunt knife spreads the force applied by our hand evenly over a comparatively large area as such the net pressure acting on one point of plane of Apple reduces.

Thus we feel easier to cut an apple with sharp knife rather than blunt knife
