an atom is chemically neutral because;-


the number of electron is same as the number of protons present in atom.



so the charge is maintained in atom and the atom remains chemically neutral.

Because the no. of electrons and no. of protons are equal in magnitude so they cancel out each other. Thus, the atom is chemically neutral.
