here's ur answer...
acid are not stored in metal containers because as we know that metal react with acid and release hydrogen gas. similarly if we will store acid in a metal container, then it will react with it and will release hydrogen gas. and also can damage that container. so it's better to use plastic or glass container to store acids.
acid + metal = salt + water
by reacting with it, the container may leak..
whereas plastic and glass don't react with acid. so, it's safe to store acid in them.
