Why are antibiotics not effective for viral diseases ?

Anti biotics does not effect viral diseases bcoz antibiotics are used for breaking the walls build by the bacterial disease. The bacteria used to build a cell wall to protect themselves but antibiotics break that wall..

but viral disease does not build any wall so antibiotics are not useful for them..

antibiotics are given to stop the biochemical reactions which occur in bacteria. And in viruses , there is no reaction takes place. So antibiotics are unable to identify them.
