Why are calcium,iron,aluminiumsodium not used in the preparation of hydrogen in lab?

Coz they do not react easily with acids as they are below hydrogen in the reactivity series if u notice

They r not used coz they will react vigourously giving out a tremendous amount of heat as they r above hydrogen
