Why are Champaran , Kheda and Ahmedabad important in the Indian national movement

1 ). In 1916 ,Gandhiji took up the cause of indigo planters in Champaran in Bihar against the oppressive plantations system.
2 ). In 1917 ,he supported the cause of peasants who were protesting against payment of land revenue in kheda, Gujarat. The crop failure and a plague epidemic was the reason behind their demand.
3 ). In 1918 ,Mahatma Gandhi organised a satyagraha movement amongst cotton mill workers in Ahmedabad.
