Why are children in slums not getting proper education

There are various reason the children in slum not getting the proper education .
This is mainly due to the lack of quality teachers in the educational system as the increasing demand for the schools with the population required more teachers result in decreasing of quality teachers.
The other reason is due to lack of proper facilities at the educational centers like the lack of computer labs.
Also, the children mainly have to face the financial issue so the parent can't send to the quality schools which have higher fees.
Moreover the students have lack of courage due to higher numbers the   teachers  don't pay attention to every one.

According to the poet, Stephen Spender, the children in the slums are not getting proper education because of the apathy and indifference of the governor, teacher, inspector, visitor, and people. In the name of providing education, they have opened a make-shift elementary school in the slums.

According to the poet, their lives can only be changed if the governor, the teacher, the inspector, the visitor, and the people do more to help them. Mere paltry donations won't solve their problems of poverty, illiteracy, and backwardness. The rich people and the government will have to do more for them. Before providing them education, their basic needs must be fulfilled.
