cups are not usually made up of metal because metal are good conductor of heat
and we us to put many hot liquid in the cups during this time the metallic cup may get heated and can burn our hands so, to prevent from this incident we don't use metal for manufacturing cups and the substances like glass and mud is used to make the cups.
