Why are gamma rays emmited, only in nuclear processes and not in orbital electron transmission?

The energy of gamma rays is of the order of MeV.

Emergies of this magnitude occur in nuclear processes but not in orbital electron transition.

heya..

here is you answer..

●In orbital transitions,the difference in energy between the concerned orbits results in a photon of a particular frequency.

●E1-E2=hv.

●But in orbital transitions,the energy difference is not high enough to produce high energy photons i.e a gamma particle.
