Following are the reasons for their stay in rain forest: Trees Are a Safe place to prevent attack from Predators: Larger predators generally cannot climb well, while monkeys are usually convenient in the trees.

This gives them a remarkable advantage.

The rain forests are dense with large number of trees, and this provides a layer of safety for the monkey and gorilla.

Food and water is Plenty:Monkeys live on fruits produced by rain forest trees.

Some trees only produce fruits eatable by monkey only in the higher parts of the canopy,.And the monkeys' ability to climb makes them easy access.

A Stable Climate, easier life:Gorillas and monkeys are highly dependent on plants and fruits as their primary food, they need an environment that is constantly stable with good rainfall and worm.

Most rainforests have constantly warm weather. Rainforests are free from droughts or any massive climactic changes.
