why are metals good conductor of electricity but glass is bad? Give reason

Metals are good conductors of electricity due to the presence of mobile electrons or free electrons. These make the flow of charges easy but in the case of glass,the absence of free electrons make it a bad conductor of electricity.

Metals have free electrons or we can say electron sea in which electrons move freely So they are good conductors .
On the other hand Glass is insulator and we know that in insulators electrons are held tightly which are not free to move So GLASS is not good conductor of electricity .
