Why are most of the world deserts found on the western margins of the continents?

when warm water heavy latend with water coming of the ocean,it rain a bit when this year hits the mountain it Rises and cool.the cold air can hold less water, so it comes out as rain after passing once then mountain ,the air fall again and warm up which make it better a holding water so no rain, so the most desert found on the Western margin of the continent .
