If we didn’t have different kinds of jobs, how could our society possibly function? You cannot only have pilots on an aircraft. You need people to build the plane, maintain it, book the seats, load the passengers and baggage, manage the flight path, etc

If you mean why do people have multiple different jobs, the reason could be that they need more income for their family, they like variety or they do not have enough hours of work from one job so they have to have many.
