Some people are gay because they just are. You don't ask people why they have eyes. They have eyes because they just do.

People discriminate against LGBTQIAA+ community because people of the community are finally able to come out, and certain people say they are not "Normal"

It's just because some people lack the ability to grasp anything that is outside their little bubble.
