why are the Arabari forests of bengal known to be a good example of conserved forest ???

the remarkable recovery which it went was due to the involvement of local community.
1172 hectares of degraded forest was replenished.local villagers were involved in pisciculture,harvesting operations and 25℅ of forest produce .
