Fundamental rights are often regarded as the conscience of the Indian constitution as it provides due guarantee for the protection of rights and regulations of the citizens. It is even regarded as the key stone of the democracy through which entire functioning in the nation takes place under set of defined rules.

The fundamental rights are called the consince of the Indian constution because they are the 'key stone' of democracy as they are guranted by laws and protect the people ( citizens,foreigns,nationalist etc) from the concive action if the government.
