green plants are called producers becouse they produce food without killing any thing if one eats cow then we will find that cow feed on grass by this we can say that everything is dependent on the plants so plants are called producers

Green Plants are called Producers because they are Autotrophs..... they produce their own food by process like Photosynthesis , etc.....
they do it with the green pigment called Chlorophyll present in Chloroplasts of leaves
