Why are the Himalayas rising?

Himalayas are young fold moutains.Fold moutain means mountains formed by the force of two tectonic plates on each other.the himalayas were formed because of the force of the indian tectonic plate and the asian plate.since these plates are still moving therefore the himalayas are still rising.
