why are the winter less in western Europe than in Eastern Europe​

here it goes..

this is because western edges of the continent are not shielded by significant mounrain.

Western Europe has an oceanic climate.

these winds are warmer than the land temperature and I also most so the climate of Western Europe is affected by these warm and moist vents all the around as they blow throughout the year .in the winter's it is quite cold in western Europe but it is even colder in Eastern Europe.
