Why are there two values for rydberg's constant?? 109,677 AND -2.18x10^-18

1/λ = R_H * (1/n1^2 - 1/n2^2)
In this equation value of R_H is 109677 cm^-1

E = -R_H * (1/n1^2 - 1/n2^2)
In this equation value of R_H is 2.18 * 10^-18 J
