In a saucer surface area is more, so rate of evaporation increases, so the hot tea cools faster. But in a cup there is less surface area and so rate of evaporation will be less as compared to saucer. so, in a cup, tea will cool slower than saucer. Hence, we can sip hot tea faster in saucer than cup.
