Hey friend,
Here's your answer,
THE STORY OF OLIVIER
Olivier was one of the many sons born to a poor merchant's family. They lived in a small village in Nottinghamshire and his father earned only that much that he could feed his two children. The remaining one of them had to starve. Moreover, it was only Olivier who did not receive food because of two reasons :
• First, that he was the youngest and food was served only to the elders.
• Secondly, he was living with a single parent as his mother had died when he was only of two months.
Therefore, he thought himself to be alone in this world. God knows what the reason was, but his father and the two brothers did not like him at all.
But despite all this, Olivier was very talented and always stood first in his class. Moreover, he was very smart and good looking too. He was always a centre of attraction within his friends' circle and was of a very friendly nature. In short, he was a man of great noble dignity.
Though he knew that his brothers did not like him, he never hated them. He showered all his love on them feeling that one day, there stone hearts would melt up.
One day, while walking down the road, he saw an old man shivering under the tree. Because of poverty, Olivier too had only a single overcoat which he was wearing. But then, he remembered his mother's saying :
Treat others the way you want to be treated....
At once he got up then, and went to the old man and covered him with his overcoat. After talking to him, he got to know that the old man was a retired principal of the government college in which Olivier was studying. He was thrown out of his house by his own children.
Olivier was jobless. He only loved teaching children but couldn't do so because of money. The old man suggested him that he could have taught in the Sunday School at the temple room. Once he gets experienced, he could become a university teacher.
Olivier thought it to be a wonderful plan and joined the Sunday School as a teacher. He was a young man of 16. His voice was filled with vigour and zeal and his explanations were very interesting. He answered every question with great enthusiasm. He worked day and night and was later promoted as the university teacher. Olivier became happy.
Now, he earned enough to feed himself, to feed the old man, as well as open up a new school of himself, where he could teach every child without any fees. He was very happy seeing his aim fulfilled. He saw his dream successful!!!
Now,he had a life full of happiness and prosperity ^_^.
Determination is truly the key to success.
Hope this helps!!!
