why are woollen clothes worn in winters


apurva22: it is because the air os a poor conducter of heat. so the wool will trap the air and it will not reach to the body

So that the heat trapped inside the clothes doesn't go outside and we fell warm

Woollen clothes keep us warm in winter. As air is a poor conductor of heat and woollen clothes do not allow the transfer of body heat to the environment and keep us warm.Woolen yarn has large amount of air trapped between its crimps.
