In rural area People are Physically more active than People of Urban area. Also In Rural area most People are dependent on Agriculture or other works where Physical work required whereas in Cities People generally work in Offices where Mental work requires.

People of rural areas require higher calorie intake as compared to the people residing in urban areas because in rural areas people do ploughing, sowing etc. while in urban areas people sit in the comfort of their offices while working.
