Why can interior of conductor have no exceds charge in static situation?

ANSWER
If a conductor is placed in an external electronic field E, the force due to E is F = qE. Due to this force, negative ions move and gather at the one side of the conductorz i.e,in the direction opposite to E. So, on the other side of the conductor, only positive ions remain. When the force of internal electric field and external electric field are equal, they cancel each other since they are in opposite directions.
