Hi friend!!

Fog basically consists of small water and ice droplets suspended in air...
The reason why We can't see clearly through the water droplets is due to a phenomenon known as the scattering of light...
The water droplets block the ray of light from reaching us and scatter them too. Hence we are unable to see properly through the fog..

Hope that helps you friend!

we can't see through fog because of scattering…. As light travels through the air, it is subject to running into anything that's in its path. Atoms and molecules in the air, including anything carried in the air like dust or smoke, will scatter light.
