why cannot we see an object clearly when placed very closed to eye?

due to blind spot see the length is fixed and if it goes more or less we start seeing them obliquely....

It's because we can see an object clearly if the object is placed 25cm before our eyes.It is the nearest a human eye can see clearly.So we can't see an object when placed very closely to eye.
