It is not stored in Nickel vessel since nickel is more reactive than copper. The nickel will displace copper from its solution and form nickel sulphate.
I.E, CuSO4+Ni---->NiSO4 + Cu
I.E, CuSO4+Ni---->NiSO4 + Cu
