The cotton textile industries are mainly concentrated in the cotton growing belt of Maharashtra and Gujarat because The moist climate of area helped in the growth of cotton so raw cotton was readily available in area There are ports nearby so the manufactured goods could be easily transported. There are enough labour force in the area.
