Europeans became so involved in exploration and exploitation of Africa due to the following reasons
●Europeans colonised mostly all countries for resources and used it for the development of their country
● but till now they did not colonise Africa they thought that it would not be having so many resources and used Africa for slaves
● Europeans did not know much about interiors of African continent because Africa was totally covered it was not known by anyone except the people living there
● so Europeans sent their expeditions to explore the continent and know the interiors of the country
● from their expedition they were shocked to see that Africa had a wide variety of resources
● so they colonised and exploited Africa also
