Indian ruler opposed the British because of following reasons
1 they wanted to free India and wanted purna sawaraj that means complete freedom so they opposed British
2 British treated badly with Indians by imposing high tax on Indians
3 British make slaves and import to neighbouring countries they allow traffic of humans
