Kezia's father punished er because she tore all the important notes of her father . without his permission she done that it was a mistake as she have done to give him surprise as cushion. but she does n't know that it was important so punishment of her father is correct.
If i should be in her place i must have asked about these papers and without permission i must not touch anything in my parents room.

Explanation: Kezia's grandmother suggested her to make a pin cushion for her fathers upcoming birthday. In the process, she wanted something to fill in it , so while searching in the house, she got a paper in her parents room. She tore that in pieces and insulted in the cushion. Poor chap! She wasn't knowing that the paper contain a very important speech which belonged to her father. And when her parents got to know about it, father took a ruler and started beating her without listening her reason. I think she deserves punishment but little. As it was Kezia's fault for not asking for permission before using it and father's too for not understanding.
