louise phillip the sixteenth called an assembly of estate generals to discuss about increasing the tax.
the first and second estate generals were allowed to sit but the third estate had to stand.
moreover there was only one vote from each estate so it is clear that the first and second estate will agree with the king and they will win as a majority.
the third estate generals opposed this but the king did not agreed to their demands.
