The Balkans was a region of diverse ethnic nationalities ruled by the decaying Ottoman empire. ... As the different nationalities struggled to define their identity and independence, the Balkan area actually became an area of intense conflict and political tension.

The nationalist tension emerges in the Balkan in year 1871 because

2. these were under the control of ottoman empire which are from Turk.

3. But after they war these country declared itself independent.

4. And they started living happily with doing lots of progress.

5. But another tension emerges that which country is more powerful. So they started fighting among themselve

4. which gives chance to other countries who do trades with them to set their rules over them.

5. so big countries started fighting among themselves that who is going to rule on Balkan area.

6. these countries were USA, Germany Austria, France, Hungary and many more.

7. which lead to the first world war.
