  • The government employees such as people associated with teaching and jurisdiction resumed to their jobs as they cannot attain their livelihood by being unemployed and thus reduced their participation in the movement .
  • Urban poor people could not afford expensive khadi clothes so they again began using mill cloth which was relatively cheap in cost .
  • The students even resumed their schools as there were not many alternate Indian institutions to join .
