Why did president franklin d. Roosevelt make the city of warm springs, Georgia the site of his “little White House”

Franklin D. Roosevelt contracted a paralytic illness. He went to the "warm springs" aka the spa town to try and exercise in the water to regain his strength (because of the natural minerals). He lived in a house there and named it his "little white house" before he died.
