Frank was very scared and he decided to hide himself in the attic behind Otto Frank's office. He wanted to protect himself and his dear ones from the evils of holocaust. Otto Frank had already made prior arrangements for their secure escape. Some non Jewish workers who had immense faith in Otto Frank helped them in this process.
