as the colonial goverment stopped shifting, cultivation, hunting and collection of forest reduce the people of baster were worried. they were not allowed to stay in the reserved forests until they agree to work for forest department. villagers suffered from increased land rentsand frequent demanding of free labour from the colonial goverment.
