The Tribals were greatly agitated and by Britishers because Tribals had their livelihoods in the forests which were gradually being cleared by them for making railway tracks(Britishers brought railways to India).This wasn't the only reason. The forests were being cleared for building of industries, residential areas and resources were being extracted from them.
