Titania was the queen of King Oberon. Titania felt an obligation to the boy and doted on him which caused Oberon to resent the boy. Thus, Oberon wished to make the little boy, a knight, as he was extremely beautiful and capable. However, Titania refused to give the boy. She had taken him as her attendant. This is the reason why Titania conceded to Oberon's demand to have the boy for his page.
