Explanation: Transformation of Mrigari ,the hunter to saint.
- Mrigari was a hunter who killed animals but not completely but half dead to see them suffer in pain.
- He once met Narada Muni , a saint who asked him to give up hunting as it was considered a great sin by the saint.
- According to the saint , he believed that the hunter would meet the same fate one day as that of the animals he has killed by none other then the killed animals.
- Mrigari was convinced by the advice of the saint and soon gave up the idea of hunting.
- Paravata Muni the friend of Narada Muni once visited the Mrigari`s cottage.
- Mrigari on seeing their arrival ran towards them and was about to fall down and offer his gratitude but could not do so as he saw ants running around his Guru`s feet.
- Since he has turned into an non violent person, he gently and carefully removed the ants with the shawl he was wearing.
Hope this helps.
