Hi.
Here is your answer------------
The difference between day and night hardly felt at Kanyakumari because it is close to the sea thus experiences the land and sea breeze daily and as a result of which it has a equable climate throughout the year and also the temperature of its remains same throughout the day.
But, Kashmir is too far fro the Sea and also located at a high altitude thus it has a low temperature, during night and little more temperature( compared to night) during the day.
Thus, difference between day and night hardly felt at kanyakumari but not in Kashmir.
Hope it will help u.
Have a nice day.
