such disasters like of uttrkhand happend due to the greediness and selfishness of the peoples.
in uttrakhand case ,peoples made large buldings on seabeds for settle the guests in these building and get money from him but in result below layer of these buildings slip and become into a dangerous for these guest as well as uttrakhand peoples.
