Why do cells formed by meristematic tissue lack vacuoles?

meristematic cells divide and form new  cells and for that they need  cytoplasm and thin cell wall , and vacuoles cause barriers in these cell division as they are full of cell sap to provide turgidity and rigidity to the cell and also vacuoles are only needed for storage and meristematic tissues do not do storages
