Excessive blinking can be caused by problems with the eyelids or anterior segment (front surface of the eye), habitual tics, refractive error (need for glasses), intermittent exotropia or turning out of the eye, and stress. It isvery rare for excessive blinking to be a sign of an undiagnosed neurologic disorder.

in order to protect our eyes from from the effect of dust and other particals which may enter and cause eye infection and all eye blink a lot and to to the iris and pupil wet eyes blink a lot
