Hello!!
These twins are called as Maternal or Monozygotic twins.
In this case, only one ovum gets fertilized, which gets split into two, forming two different zygotes. Both the zygotes will look identical and will be of the same sex (male-male or female-female).
Now, there can be multiple disorders too, in case, if the ovum do not fully separate. In this case, two conjoined twins are formed, who can be separated from each other by surgical methods.
Thanks!

There are two ways that a woman may conceive twins.
In one case, her ovaries release two eggs at the time of ovulation, and both are fertilized and become embryos; this results in fraternal, or non-identical, twins.
In contrast, identical twins are conceived when one embryo splits into two early in its development.
